These chairs arrived completely disassembled, which was a surprise, since I thought they would be partially assembled. That did not turn out to be a problem. However, all of the black pieces arrived with the paint scraped off in various places, and all will require touch ups to look really nice. This is difficult because I don't have the matching paint, and don't know how to get ahold of it. So a potentially really nice set becomes just "okay."

Have to put together and after 3 hours we just gave up since we had zero pieces put together. The chair rails have to be put into the back and there are about 10 and every time you flip the chair after you get the rails in they fall out even with the glue. We shipped back!

There is a sticker on the bottom of the chair that says made with materials that are known to cause cancer. That would have been nice to know before I purchased this item. These chairs are light weight construction I do not expect them to last long and shipping took almost 2 weeks. This is the second review I've posted on this item apparently Amazon discarded the 1st review of which said the same thing.

Chairs are fine for the money, very sturdy. However, they are probably the most difficult things I have ever had to assemble.

These chairs barely last 5 months in my house before I threw them out. They were assembled according to the instructions, but were very wobbly and the pieces didn't stay in place. I would definitely recommend spending more and getting higher quality chairs.

OK For A Basic Chair

These last about 2-3 years before the legs become loose at the base of the chair and at the supports. They cannot be tightened once this happens, as the material/design are of moderate quality, but they do the job for a throwaway purpose. If you want a longer-term chair, spend the extra money rather than replacing these so often.Assembly takes some patience, but is fairly simple. My suggestion is to get some Elmer's wood glue. The glue supplied is insufficient in quantity and, based upon the other materials provided, probably not very good glue. Also, get a decent 4mm allen wrench. The one provided will strip almost instantaneously. The instructions recommend using a rubber mallet for part of the assembly. You are going to need that to ensure a good fit of the spindles.

One of maybe 2 or three products that I have returned to amazon over the past several years. Horrble!. None of the holes were the right size for the hoop ends or the spindles. Finish was worn off in several places. Impossible to put together without a small army.

good chair but use your own allen wrench to assemble

chairs appear to be pretty sturdy but was difficult to assemble. The allen wrench provided chipped easily and it was difficult to get everything tightened down properly. Now that have them put ogether I am pretty happy with them.
