Stool is nice but be prepared to drill a few holes

I got this stool to replace the stepladder that my toddler was using to get to the sink. The stepladder kept sliding on the floor, and I wanted something more stable. This works perfectly, he can climb up the 2 lower steps and kneel on the top, reaching the sink without trouble. Or he can sit on the top step and brush his teeth, etc.HOWEVER, the pre-drilled holes for assembly of the lower part of the stool don't line up properly. All the parts are included, but when trying to line up the holes to assemble the lower stairs, I had to drill extra holes to install the flat step parts. This is very easy to do, if you have a drill and are comfortable using it, but this is an extra step that need to be done on this product.

This is one handy little gadget. Has multiple uses as well. I purchased it as a present for a shorter member of my family. It is tall enough to sit on as an extra needed chair at the table or while visiting with a group of friends and helps a shorter person reach the top shelf of the kitchen cabinets, a screaming smoke alarm that is steam sensitive or clean that higher spot. Love it!

I purchased this stool to replace a much older Cosco-style stool to serve dual purpose for seating at a kitchen island and a needed step stool to reach higher cabinets in the kitchen. I found the assembly to be straightforward and uncomplicated. The stool and step felt very sturdy and I was initially pleased. However, upon using this as a step-stool to stand on I found that it "jumped" dangerously across the tiled kitchen floor, perhaps due to the hard, rounded plastic feet under the legs and bottom step. In one instance the stool completely went out from under me and I landed on the floor. Not long afterwards a piece of wood from the outside support of the step fell off and I noticed that there was also a hairline crack in the wood on the opposite side piece and that the tread of the second step had pulled away from the steps side supports. The stool is still sturdy, but needless to say the step is useless. If I hadn't wanted the step stool function I would have purchased an entirely different stool!

After looking online at other options, this stool seemed pretty good. However, I concur with previous reviews - the product was not ready for easy assembly - no pilot holes and I had to get other (better quality) screws, since the ones that came with it stripped out immediately. On top of that, once I got it together - the stool wobbles, since the legs are uneven. I'll keep it, since I've now spent the time assembling it, but now need to either cut one of the legs or find self-leveling feet to correct the problem.

Though the seller is not at fault, I could only give the product 2 stars. It's nice enough but the pilot holes for the two lower steps are drilled totally in the wrong location. This will require me to redrill 8 starter holes which must be rather precise or the stool would be unsafe. Most folks would not be able to do this with out messing up the stool. If one were to screw the steps on without holes the wood would split easily. Returning this product would be a PITA so I'm going to fix the problem myself but I'm not happy about it.

Very poor quality. I am not new to putting furniture together (Ikea is my friend). I have never seen anything manufactured so poorly. One the the counter sink holes was drilled too low, therefore was not enough wood left to hold the screw to the leg. Had to "rig" a piece to glue into the hole to make it strong enough.The hardware is very, very poor quality stripped one screw by hand and another would not fit the allen wrench supplied.I purchase a lot of "stuff" from Amazon and love Ikea (if you don't know you have to put all their items together when you get home.Have never seen anything so poorly made since I started putting "boxed furniture" together in the 70's!Boraam shame on you for selling such JUNK

This is a great step stool for the kitchen and looks nice. Came already assembled. Great height for those highest cupboards. The only thing I am not 100% happy with is that when you step on the second step you must be careful to step on the centre because if you step to far forward it gets tippy! which is a little scary. I use it all the time in the kitchen, and as an extra seat sometimes but do take caution on the second step.

Something is very wrong with the way these holes and screws line up. For us it was absolutely impossible to drive the screw entirely into the hole, causing the stool to be wobbly and unsafe. Now we will need to attempt to get the screw back out and drill our own hole but it is very stuck.

Great Table, Beautiful and a Value

I was worried about ordering a table online without actually seeing it in a store first but this table is everything I hoped it would be. We were looking for the perfect gathering table that could also double as a dining table since our place is limited in size and this fit the bill perfectly. It seats eight comfortably and is great for company. The assembly wasn't difficult but does take a little time, especially since you have to build all the chairs too. The Lazy Susan is very modern and looks gorgeous. The storage in the bottom is great for wine and stemware. It is a heavy table and solidly built. Make sure you have a few people to help you carry it inside. I would highly recommend this table to anyone. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of all the assembly required.

*Configuration*If seating 8 people is an important criterion for you, then this table is not going to do it. I was concerned about the size and seating from the pictures before we bought this set, but now its confirmed. There's no place on the square table to accommodate 2 people to each side without elbows knocking and plates, glasses set so close to each other, you could eat off the other's plate. On corner seats, its not possible to sit without one person's knees poking another's thigh. The most you can realistically seat is 6 people if you do 2 chairs on two of the sides and 1 chair each on the remaining two sides. With that configuration, you can move the single chairs to the middle and spread out the 2 chair side a little bit so that elbows and knees are not bumping into each other. But that makes the whole setting looks somehow asymmetric not to mention the single plate in the center is really close to the lazy susan in the center.The center lazy susan is a tempered glass round flush with the surface of the table but positioned on bearings such that it can rotate. Its virtually useless because you cannot set the plate correctly enough so that when it rotates it does not get jammed in the wood circumference (there's a 2 millimeter gap between the wood and glass plate). A slight push and the glass plate closes this gap on one side and cannot rotate. You would have to press hard on the glass to make it rotate and it makes a noise as the plate rubs along the wood.The square shape makes it good to put some food in the middle of the table, but creates unusable space in the corners which is wasted. Using this set with just 4 chairs might be ok, but then why would you spend all this money to leave 4 of the 8 chairs supplied out?Read more ›

I purchased this table set in May and wanted to really try it out before I offered up my opinion on it. I was a bit dubious that eight individuals could sit around this table comfortably and not be knocking elbows with those seated around them. It turned out there was plenty of room for everyone.All in all, this is a fabulous set. It has a wonderful look to it (it also comes in a walnut finish), and is very sturdy. I like the height of the set as well. The seats, (especially for not having padded backs to them), are surprisingly comfortable, and the storage cabinet underneath the table is an added plus. The cabinet opens on two opposite sides, and has grooves to store wine bottles on their side and stemware can hang from beneath the "roof" of the cabinet. The base of my stemware seemed a bit too wide to slide into the wooden slots located underneath the top of the cabinet, but no biggie, I just stored my crystal elsewhere.There is space between the bottom of the table and the top of the cabinet to use for knick knacks or whatever you'd like to place there.The instructions were fairly easy to follow (a good thing for those of us diagramily challenged), and took my daughter and I about two hours to put it all together. Everyone who sees it compliments the set. I like the lazy susan in the middle of the table, although mine doesn't turn quite so smoothly or easily. I may have to have the glass ground down around the edges just ever so slightly. The sale price (under $800.00) is an exceptional deal as well. With a new house to furnish and decorate, believe me, I've been looking around and comparing prices.~ jade ~

I ordered this table from Moshya Home Furnishings on this website...It was an amazing purchase and an amazing dining set. Moshya delivered my set sooner than I expected. It was simple to put together, It took about 2.5 hours to put it together. My husband and I along with two of our children put it together. Since I have children, I covered each seat with plastic that I purchased from the Hobby Lobby store. This set is quality, quality, quality! It's made with real wood not that plywood junk most new items are made of. This is a great buy especially form Moshya Home Furnishings. No...I do not work for Moshya I'm just a customer that had a great buying experience with them. Go ahead and buy this set it...You will love it like we do.

This was, by far, THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A COMPANY. In an attempt to make a long story short... The item arrived DAMAGED 17 days (09/30/2013) after the order date. The tabletop was cracked halfway across and completely up to the top on one of the support beams. I informed the seller (the next day), and sent the pictures of the damage that evening (as requested by the seller). After some back and forth about it not being documented on the "delivery paper," I was informed, on 10/05/2013, by the seller (Dillon signed the email) that a new table top would be sent . (By the way, UPS will allow you to leave a note with your signaure to allow the table to be left in your driveway). I requested that a tracking number be sent on 10/08/2013. I was told that I would receive one when it was received from the manufacturer and then shipped by this company (Moshya). I never received this information, and thus requested another update on 10/14/2013 regarding the table top that I was told would be sent. On both 10/17/2013 (by Dillon) and 10/21/2013 (and then by Victor), I was asked if I could be called regarding an update. I requested that it be in writing both times, as I knew that they were putting me off (read previous reviews). I was contacted via email, on 10/22/2013, and was told that a new table top was NOT being sent. It has been over three weeks since I made the initial contact about the damaged item, and 18 days since I was told a new table top was being sent to resolve this issue. After almost 3 weeks, I contacted Amazon through their "A to Z Guarantee." What a joke. I am now being told that I can send the item back for a refund. Seriously?? I received the box in a timely matter. My first thoughts was wow heavy. After opening the box, there were ALOT of piece and I was afraid of how long it would take to put together. It took me about 20 minutes of taking panels and pieces to get setup. However, after that the instructions were amazingly easy to follow. It took no longer then 30 minutes to fully assembly. I did however forget about one thing. There is a screw in post on the bottom middle of the stand. But it was easy to install even after assembling. When it was done I was very impressed. It turn out beautiful in my sitting room. Heavy unit, tall, hinges a good weight, and wood frame. Great for a TV on the wall.One con is the drawers on the right side. It looks like there is three of them. In reality it is one on the top and the bottom two are a door to open up. So if your looking for a unit that has multiple drawers on it, sorry this is not for you.If your looking for a cheap but solid piece of furniture, give it try. I defiantly liked it.

I looked at so many tv stands that contained storages and each one had or more features that I didn't like. This tv stand is awesome. My boyfriend and I put it together in about 3 hours. All the pieces were included, nothing scratched and directions were very clear and each piece was well marked. I would recommend using a drill or electric screw driver, but not absolutely necessary...just makes it quicker. The door on the left is slightly lower than the right, but it's hardly noticeable. We tried to adjust, but screws were starting to strip. Other than that I couldn't be more pleased. It's beautiful, looks more expensive than it is and has lots of storage. The wood doesn't look cheap.

Look sturdy but has 1 major flaw!!!

I purchased 3 of these from Walmart when they were on sale for $79.99. After using them for ~5 months two of the supporting wood crossbars under the seats on two of the stools cracked. My wife weighs ~135lbs and I weigh ~185lbs. The crossbars are only 7/8" thick and support all your weight and are attached to the seat by only 2 #6 wood screws. This is a major weak point in the stools construction. The stools are manufactured in Viet Nam, so who knows what type of wood is used.I contacted Boraam's customer service and they offered to send me 2 new crossbars, but I had to pay the $11.80 shipping charge.To other reviewers, your stools may be ok for now but watch out for cracks in the crossbars in a few months or weeks.I do NOT recommend these stools to anyone weighing >200lbs.

I read the reviews and decided to take a chance on two of them. I weight 216 lbs and I am so glad we purchased. They are strong, durable, yet compact for our bar. The swivel is nice and I must say, my husband put together and we were very please with the product of wood and faux leather. Great chair for the money. I would order again.

I ordered two of these stools in October for use at the bar/eating area in our new home. Both were delivered by November 1st and promptly put together. Two days ago (with less than 90 days of use) one of the legs on one of the stools snapped. Luckily no one was injured. It is evident that it must have been cracked from the factory because you can see where the stain had seeped into the wood. I am not at all impressed. On line, my Amazon account reads that the return time is up so apparently I have spent $100 on piece of unusable scrap.......this is very disappointed.....I am going to continue my quest for a replacement but will be constantly watching the legs on the second stool to insure there are no cracks and no one is injured. My dilemma will continue as I decide how to move forward.....do I get another brand and have two miss matched stools in my kitchen or do I order another of these and hope this broken leg was just a flook?

I wasn't sure what to expect but the chairs are beautiful. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I took me 2 1/2 hours to put three of them together by myself. It went quicker once I figured out to use a power tool instead of the allen key. In some areas of the chair the power tool wont fit so the allen key took up time. The chair construction is solid beautiful wood with a cushy seat and back. I bought a counter height (29in) for a 40 in counter. The chair height is perfect! I am amazed of the quality compared to the cost. I have them against emerald granite counter top with dark bamboo flooring. The chairs fit right in and look fancy and expensive. Great product. Don't hesitate to buy! Btw - I normally do not leave reviews, I am that impressed!

These are decivingly small stools. They are good quality and come packaged very nicely, but if you have a real full sized bar or kitchen island, I wouldn't recommend. We sent ours back. The description states they are 18" wide, but they are more like 16" wide. A typical bar stool is more like 21" plus.

Not all legs are even - the chair tilts and is noticable.

I have seen this chair at a friends place and found that they sell through Amazon. I bought 2 stools last week and one of the chair doesn't have even legs. to make it stop tilting I have to put 2 quarter coins under it. Amazon was offering me to return and get a new one, but I had put effort in putting it together and wasn't willing to try a new one. It may be a manufacturing defect.Other than that, the quality looks good. Also if you do have a counter top of 40 inches do not try this. The best way to assemble

Where are the instructions?

I love these stools, now that I assembled them correctly. I went online to find out how to unlock the pneumatic riser. You had to pull up very, very hard.My grandchildren love the stools, however they do not weigh enough to lower the stools after they are raised. I get to sit on the stools to make them go back down. Whee!The stools are surprisingly stable considering you are seating very high on a very narrow shaft when they are completely raised. And even adults like to make the stools go up and down. I guess we are all kids at heart.They are also very comfortable. And you do not feel like you are going to fall off. The seat cradles your bottom and is not slippery.I've always liked the looks of these stools and now they are in my newly remodeled traditional kitchen. My home is almost 100 years old and these stools take up very little room, something that is very important when you remodel an older kitchen. They are the perfect accent.

I probably wouldn't really recommend these. The levers for raising and lowering the seat were both sheared off when the stools arrived, but I was able to super glue them back on so I didn't return the stools. Looked like an inherent problem with the way they were packed, though. I have sat in other similar stools like this that were more comfortable. I don't know what the difference is, but these are really as good.

The pictures posted on this site of the this amazing expresso colored table do NOT do it justice...it arrived nicely shipped and ontime and the quality of the wood was exceptional considering the low price tag. I also found it quite easy to put together and I am not handy at all... the leaf that goes in the center to make it oval shaped is also great bc you can either have a round or oval shaped table, when I purchased this table I didn't realize this--great feature! I also bought 4 of the matching chairs with this set and they are really sturdy and have a comfy mocha colored bottom, really happy with both purchases!

I was sent a shipping confirmation once it had been shipped. It also had a link to track my package and it came on the anticipated day. Once we took everything out of the box, it only took my husband about 15 minutes to put together. I offered help, and he didn't even need it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it did have a dent or two. But, they were not super obvious so I didn't feel it was worth sending the whole thing back for that. It looks really nice and I've already gotten lot's of compliments!

This table is beautiful. It does not really seat 6 adults. 4 is more practical. I assembled it myself in about 20 minutes with ease. It arrived within 3 days of placing the order in excellent condition. I recently ordered 2 chairs also made by Coaster Furniture based on my satisfaction with this product.

I ordered the product and it looked like a demo or returned product. There were scratches, dent and even a chuck taken out of the wood and missing hardware that I had to buy to put it together. This was advertised as a new product and certainly didn't look like it. The seller contacted me and asked me to give them the opportunity to remedy the situation and after leaving feedback and offered me a partial refund of $100 to upgrade my feedback immediately. Told them I would upgrade with the refund, but not until I recieved the refund. They requested pictures which I sent and I am still waiting for. As an educated individual I know the legal ramifications of false advertising. Not sure this is a business that actually stands by its products or its words. Disappointed in the whole situation. The damage to the product was not due to shipping as they packaged the table box inside another box and put foam all around it and the outside of the box was not damaged ... Guess just "shady" business practices!!!

Shipping was done quickly and arrived in good condition. The cappuccino finish was turely 'CAPPUCCINO". The table's assembly went easily and it's construction is sturdy enough. Only one big problem. Where the table comes together to make it round and where the extention goes to make it oval, the lines are uneven and do not meet; creating a 1/4 inch gap at each side. Only because we have the tools and know how to correct this problem, we will keep the table. I would not recommend this product, especially to thoes who wouldn't be able to fix it.

How I got the shaft and he got the money

First of all I did not receive the full order of four chairs and one table. All received two chairs and one table, it makes it hard when you're going to have company over for dinner and have to tell them to sit on their thumbs. After writing accompanies review I received a phone call from the owner who said he would give me 20% off the price and would check into the chairs that were missing. That was if I would change my review of this company, which I should know done. The next day did not receive chairs, I talked to the owner told him to credit me back to two chairs so I can afford to rent two chairs for my dinner party. The chairs were refund plus shipping cost no 20% off price.Now that I polished the table with pledge furniture polish you can see lines in the tabletop under the finish. It looks like to me someone used a belt Sander and didn't finish the job with the common Sander which would it took the lines out of the table. Which in the video you will see.The offer that was made by the vendor for me through the A-Z program is not acceptable. I am on Social Security disability and cannot afford to throw away money. To have me have someone pack up the table and chairs and the cost of shipping supplies, plus the cost using UPS to send it back to the vendor and the insurance! Basically I wouldn't have any money to buy a new table and chairs.I sent the vendor a counteroffer of crediting me back $60 so I can have somebody refinished the top of the table the right way. I have not heard back from the vendor. So I will save the money up myself and have the tabletop refinished the correct way.I will never buy from this vendor again and suggests that this is not a company you want to do business with.Marty.

The overall shape and size is nice. Too bad it arrived damaged. The top had cracks and dings in it. The replacement top that was sent was even more damaged. It had a crack through the middle. No resolution on the second damaged table top either.

Just what I was looking for!

This is a beautiful piece of furniture and I am hopeful that it will last for a long time. I was looking for a seat that my husband and I could share, and the other banquettes I found were too large and very expensive. This one is well crafted, sturdy, has plenty of room for the two of us and it is actually more cushioned than I had expected. It is a firm cushioning, and the back is only about 1" of cushioning and the seat about 3", but it is much more comfortable than our previous furniture which did not have any cushioning on the back of the chairs. The height is perfect to lean your head back for a moment or two, and the design is supportive as long as you sit up straight, which is good because it doesn't encourage you to slouch. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

I really liked the bench. I was skeptical of buying it online for that price.The 'red' color option is really good, I have red bench w 4 leather chairs and looks great. But the design is really exotic and very comfy, the high back option is really good so adults can really relax and rest their neck/back on it. My 2 little kiddos always sit together on the bench and gives a nice feeling of closeness in the dining room. Am using it for the kitchen dining set. The bench has a tufted back (button holes), if you have little ones make sure they don't try to pull on the buttons:)

Due to the curve, make sure you have someone to help you put this together. It just makes it easier. This is very pretty but falls a little short when it comes to comfort.

These chairs was worth every cent we paid. They are easy to put together.The color of chairs is dark brown with espresso legs. I was expecting a hard kind of Bycast material but to my surprise it was soft and comfortable. Nice job Thank you for the most beautiful dining chairs.

These are bargain Parson's chairs no doubt but they look pricier. They match my Expresso book cases from Target perfectly. I also have some baskets from Target that match this Bycast Leather too. Overall these chairs look nice and match my decor and arrived fast and I am pleased with this purchase!The chairs did arrive in parts in a beat up box from Fed Ex. My husband had no problem putting them together. He put both chairs together in under an hour, including unpacking the box and inspecting everything to be sure no damgage, defects or missing parts. Everything was in mint condition and all the parts were included. The directions were a list of pictures, still very basic and simple to follow. The seat cushion is soft and padded. These chairs are comfortable, with a big deep seat base.Once assembled the chairs are light weight and I mean very light if you wanted to move them around your house. I would not recommend a heavier person sitting on the assembled chairs because they do seem fragile and light weight. I am petite and will be using them in my den and am ultimately pleased with this purchase.I would of given them 5 stars if they were sturdier, heavier feeling.Overall i do recommend these chairs but just know that if you want them for every day you may want to consider something else.
