Chairs came on time. Communication from the seller was absent until I inquired about my order. The chairs are alright for the price. They are solid wood and look nice, but some of the screws were too long and some of the legs were a tad short making the chairs wobble. My husband had to do some creative fixes to get them to work right.

I was looking long a hard for wood chears for my kitchen which would be reasonably priced and look good. Those chairs are exactly what I was looking for: the back structure is solid with horizontal piese (unlike windsor style chairs, where vertical planks attached directly into seat). Also, legs are almost straight (again, in windsor style they are protruding far from seat, which creates a tripping hazard). Chairs are not big, which is a plus in our not too big kitchen. We have them for 2 years now, and there is no sign of any need of maintenance. I am very happy with them.

The price is good but you will regret spending every penny on these chairs.First, they came but a large number of them were damaged because they were not packed well.They could not be used at all.Also, a number of the chairs did not fit together as the production quality was so low.The poor quality led to the chairs that I could assemble being unstable.The directions are a single photocopied (no English) page of blurry pictures.Finally, the company did not honor the refund policy.They would email me thousands of questions with every email but, never would take the chairs back.This is a complete rip off.

Wood is solid, but chairs to not fit together properly; finish is nice, but carpentry is poor.

I like the quality of the wood itself, and the finish looks nice, but the bored holes in the wood for assembly did not line up correctly in many of the chairs. This creates a nasty wobble effect. It is party fixable by adding padding to the bottom of the chairs, but it's an extra hassle that shouldn't be necessary. I bought 6 chairs and only on of them sat perfectly flat; another two had only a slight wobble; and the last three had a serious wobble.And the instructions? They were simply awful. They were a single page, extremely poorly photocopied, to the point in some cases of being unreadable. If I spend $300 on chairs, it would be nice to get an instruction sheet that can be read. I am a pretty handy guy, but I'm not a furniture builder. Boraam gets high marks for the quality of wood they use and the finishing, but very low ones for carpentry and guidance.

I was VERY unpleased with this product. It took way longer than expected to arrive, the wrong legs were mailed with the chairs, and they are very week not durable at all. I would only use these for extra chairs around the house for very light house guests.

If we had paid more for these chairs, they would have been returned. There's no way they're worth $159. full price! The finish is very rough in spots, especially on the seats. Terrible assembly instructions....actually, there were no instructions, only really poor drawings.

The chairs looked great once assembled but why did I gave it a 3 star rating? Because the pre-drilled holes does not line up with other holes to be able to assemble. So some holes were left empty because we couldn't but the bolt through it. Kinda disappointing.

We were a little leery about ordering furniture on Amazon and especially an item with only a single review, but because of Amazon's excellent return policy we decided to take the chance. We were not disappointed at all. The stools arrived on time and the packaging was fantastic. Each one was double boxed with packing/protective material between the two boxes. Each component was also wrapping in protective material. The stools were extremely easy to put together and probably took 30-45 minutes total for the 2 stools. Once put together the stools are nice and solid and look fantastic. The workmanship and quality of these stools is fantastic. We are extremely pleased.

I'd been looking for a storage bench to set by our bedroom closets and this fit the bill quite nicely. While the shipping is a bit steep from this seller it was still the best deal I could find for this particular bench-- I saw this exact one on a well-known "discount" site for almost $300! The only assembly is attaching the legs which I did by myself in about 15 minutes. The bench itself is quite comfortable--it feels almost like memory-foam type material--and the color is true to the picture. FYI if you have pets, the material is a bit of a "fur magnet" but cleans up pretty easily with a lint roller. Recommended and happy with this purchase.

It's a good height for sitting and the extra storage is really helpful. It's nice to have storage that's not too deep so you don't have to dig for stuff you put in there. It was easy to put together and looks great. My only complaint is that it really attracts dog hair. I keep it covered because it's too hard to keep clean.

Very pretty bench that is just the right size to go in front of our bed. I was surprised at how much storage space there is--I can fit a lot of clothes in it. I would definitely recommend this product. We have a very tall bed/mattress and this bench is about half the height of the bed-great for the cat to jump on when getting into bed with us :-)

This bench is stunning! These photos do not do it justice. I purchased it to put in my studio apartment to store my sheets / blankets in when I'm not sleeping on my futon. Everything fits great, 2 pillows, 2 sheets, 1 comforter and a couple of blankets. The brown is stunning and neutral. The leather is EXTREMELY soft and supple. Well worth the price!The only thing is that the oil on the hinges got on my sheets and it will not come out so be careful where you lay the items you are storing there.

I needed some type of storage unit that could provide extra seating. I love this ottoman. It is well made, attractive and spacious. I can fit lots of "stuff" inside. I bought this bench with the specific intent of recovering it with my own fabric. The bench is well made, very easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I didn't really care for the fake leather upholstery but since I was recovering the bench that was irrelevant. A great price and now that it's recovered it looks great at the foot of my bed!

Just received this bench yesterday, and here's my two cents: know what you're getting. I'm keeping it, but likely shouldn't be.First off, upon receipt the framework attached to the underside of the bench (that you screw legs into) was ripped off during shipping, the screws floating around the box and the holes they were in stripped. So, I'm handy, I grab some better quality, thicker screws and reattach it. One corner was also split nearly through the wood, so some wood glue and a vice clamp on that was as far as I got on day one.Day two, go to attach the legs and only 6 of the 8 holes were lined up properly, so out to the garage for a drill and bit, redrill the hole, and the leg is almost in the right spot. Turn it over, set it in place, and I like enough too not call it a total waste, but just beware that the quality is not great, the craftsmsnship is terrible, but it still looks ok. I know I should have returned it, but it was the only bench I could find in that length in the wood/bonded leather with tufts that I wanted, so I'm keeping it. Happy shopping!

I bought this bench to replace 2 chairs in my kitchen for our kids to sit on. The holes were too big for the tiny screws that came with it, so they needed to be replaced. The "leather" covering is not as durable as I thought, seems a bit flimsy. The bench is a bit lightweight for the price, but is sturdy and does not wobble.

This is a nice sturdy bench. It took about 10 minutes to assemble and everything arrived in great shape. I would give this product 4 1/2 stars if that were an option. I would have given it 5 stars if the upholstery material was a better quality but having said that, for the price it's a very good bargain. I would not hesitate recommending this product to anyone.

Look sturdy but has 1 major flaw!!!

I purchased 3 of these from Walmart when they were on sale for $79.99. After using them for ~5 months two of the supporting wood crossbars under the seats on two of the stools cracked. My wife weighs ~135lbs and I weigh ~185lbs. The crossbars are only 7/8" thick and support all your weight and are attached to the seat by only 2 #6 wood screws. This is a major weak point in the stools construction. The stools are manufactured in Viet Nam, so who knows what type of wood is used.I contacted Boraam's customer service and they offered to send me 2 new crossbars, but I had to pay the $11.80 shipping charge.To other reviewers, your stools may be ok for now but watch out for cracks in the crossbars in a few months or weeks.I do NOT recommend these stools to anyone weighing >200lbs.

I read the reviews and decided to take a chance on two of them. I weight 216 lbs and I am so glad we purchased. They are strong, durable, yet compact for our bar. The swivel is nice and I must say, my husband put together and we were very please with the product of wood and faux leather. Great chair for the money. I would order again.

I ordered two of these stools in October for use at the bar/eating area in our new home. Both were delivered by November 1st and promptly put together. Two days ago (with less than 90 days of use) one of the legs on one of the stools snapped. Luckily no one was injured. It is evident that it must have been cracked from the factory because you can see where the stain had seeped into the wood. I am not at all impressed. On line, my Amazon account reads that the return time is up so apparently I have spent $100 on piece of unusable scrap.......this is very disappointed.....I am going to continue my quest for a replacement but will be constantly watching the legs on the second stool to insure there are no cracks and no one is injured. My dilemma will continue as I decide how to move forward.....do I get another brand and have two miss matched stools in my kitchen or do I order another of these and hope this broken leg was just a flook?

I wasn't sure what to expect but the chairs are beautiful. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I took me 2 1/2 hours to put three of them together by myself. It went quicker once I figured out to use a power tool instead of the allen key. In some areas of the chair the power tool wont fit so the allen key took up time. The chair construction is solid beautiful wood with a cushy seat and back. I bought a counter height (29in) for a 40 in counter. The chair height is perfect! I am amazed of the quality compared to the cost. I have them against emerald granite counter top with dark bamboo flooring. The chairs fit right in and look fancy and expensive. Great product. Don't hesitate to buy! Btw - I normally do not leave reviews, I am that impressed!

These are decivingly small stools. They are good quality and come packaged very nicely, but if you have a real full sized bar or kitchen island, I wouldn't recommend. We sent ours back. The description states they are 18" wide, but they are more like 16" wide. A typical bar stool is more like 21" plus.

Not all legs are even - the chair tilts and is noticable.

I have seen this chair at a friends place and found that they sell through Amazon. I bought 2 stools last week and one of the chair doesn't have even legs. to make it stop tilting I have to put 2 quarter coins under it. Amazon was offering me to return and get a new one, but I had put effort in putting it together and wasn't willing to try a new one. It may be a manufacturing defect.Other than that, the quality looks good. Also if you do have a counter top of 40 inches do not try this. The best way to assemble

The pros include: Good neutral color, well-functioning safety hinges, easy to attach legs, very well packed (hard to unpack, in fact), plenty of storage capacity, and attractive (if you don't look at it too closely at how carelessly it's made), sits solidly on the floor, comfortable to sit on, no odor, and apparently my cat isn't interested in using it as a scratching post (a major plus)The cons: Decorative tacks are obviously misaligned, fabric is loose on the seat pad, foam seat pad is uneven in at least two places, fabric was marred right out of the box, and it took 12 days to be delivered. Yes, it was shipped FedEx Ground, but the two other items I ordered at the same time arrived a week sooner.Only a so-so value for the price; I never would have bought it had I seen it "in person" - see my photos. The only reason I'm not returning it is that it's too big a hassle.The listing crosses out an "original price" of $269.99. Really??

I purchased this bench in preparation for my newborn coming home. I previously had a glass coffee table with lots of sharp edges. I am very pleased with this purchase! The material is soft but the cushion is firm so it can hold things without spilling or falling over. I like that the storage space is large enough for several items but it's not big and bulky. It fits nicely into my small living room. I would recommend this product to anyone who has a small space!!

I was really happy to see that this is an actual piece of furniture and not just a cloth-covered box. I bought it for the foot of my bed, but until my remodel is finished, it's in my den and looks good there too. The interior is roomy and functional. It was well-packed and arrived in perfect condition. The upholstery is very neutral, leaning more toward taupe than the palomino side of tan. I would recommend this for extra storage or extra seating.

The item was easy to unpack and assemble (legs).It was all that the description says,the fabric is nice and it looks as good as the picture.The only minor problem with the item was that one nailhead had come off when I was assembling it. I found the spot on the trim that it belongs to and inserted it back into place. It should not be a problem in the future, now that it is positioned in the room.

We got this storage bench to hide our childrens toys in our main room area while blending in with the rest of our furniture.It works great. I was concerned about the hinge lid. I like to be able to just open it and let the lid stay open while they play and there is no problem there.The bench has a large storage area and holds all that we need to and is still comfortable to sit on.We even use it to pull over and sit on to play games at the coffee table. It is sturdy and looks great!No complaints here.

According to Amazon's description this set is of "Solid wood construction". Nothing is mentioned that it's actually made of solid wood veneers over high-grade MDF. I am sorry, but this is not solid wood. I was going to purchase the product, but was glad to check manufacturer's website.I think buyers need to be aware of this fact.

I absolutely love this table! It is high quality but at a great price. I have a small dining room so I needed a table around 5 feet and this one fits perfectly! It has a butterfly leaf so you don't have to worry about storing it elsewhere and it gives me the option of having a 6-foot table if needed. The bench is really cute and tucks away nicely under the table. The assembly takes a little time, but it is well worth it. I get a lot of compliments on this table and people think it is from high end places and are always shocked when I tell them I got it from Amazon! Definitely a steal for the price.

Good:Looks good and fits our space perfectly.Assembly wasn't that bad - just 2hrs. For the chairs I'd highly suggest loosely putting it together and then checking the chair sits correctly on a flat surface and then tighten. Follow instructions carefully as some of the screws are subtly different sized. It's no worse than Ikea.Bad:The expansion mechanism was fully jammed on one side just as others have said. After taking it apart I figured there was no way to repair it. Certainly no quality control for it to be shipped like that. Cust. support played dumb but was very willing to ship us a new table top. Oddly enough they don't just ship the mechanism. Unfortunately the new table top was poorly finished. So they tested the mechanism worked but didn't look at the table?! I wound up just disassembling both tables to get a nicely finished and working table together.I do not believe the table top is fully solid wood. The bottom layer is certainly some type of MDF. The rest of the pieces are solid wood and very heavy.

I really wanted to love this table but the problems that came with this table are numerous. First problem we encountered was a crack in one of the chair backs. Second problem we found another crack in a piece that went on the table, however, directions for the table were not included so we were not able to identify this piece. Normally, one would think that you could find the directions on the manufacturers website, this is not the case. The directions link for ALL of their tables opened up to directions for a boys bunk bed. The manufacturer was able to email us the correct set of directions and they also replaced the the cracked pieces in our original shipment for free. Once we received the new pieces we were able to assemble the table just to find that two pieces that go on the leaves were not the correct length, they ended up being too long and required manual trimming. The directions also have you put the mounting hardware for the leaves on backwards. The quality of this table is not worth the $800 price tag. The table is made with MDF covered in a low quality veneer that scratches very easily. Had Amazon not offered us a significant discount this table would have gone back and received a one star rating.

I have to give it 4 stars because I really do like it. I think it's very pretty and is certainly an impressive table. The quality is not outstanding, but exceeds the quality of any tables I've seen in furniture stores that cost twice as much. Though, that may depend on how carefully you put it together. This is not your typical prefab furniture, it is held together with screws and glue and a really well designed support system. The chairs are especially nice. They're very solid, comfortable, and look better than ANY chairs I've seen for sale since I've been looking. All in all, it's a pretty great table!... and that's where the praise stops. It was an absolute nightmare to put together. You sincerely have no idea what you're in for from the looks of it! It's strange because I praise it for using "real" hardware like screws and woodglue, but that's part of what makes it a pain to put together. There are hundreds (several hundreds) of screws! THAT IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION. The funny part is that the instructions tell you not to use any power tools. The funnier part is that I complied and did more than half of them by hand before I finally pulled out a drill. Some of the other reviews claim that it takes about 3 hours to put together, but I frankly can't believe that. It would take an hour to open the 4 boxes and lay out all of the pieces! I undertand that I work a little slowly, I was working on it by myself, and I was working on it in a less than ideal environment, but I can't be that far off. I spent 4 hours putting the chairs and bench together, and wasn't phased because I thought those would be the worst part. They weren't. The table itself was soooo much worse.
